Christopher McGill
Director / Producer
Christopher is an award-winning filmmaker with an MA from UWS. His work has screened on BFI Player and at festivals like BFI Flare and Fantasia. Nominated for Grierson award for his film Is It Me in 2021. He is creative director of Riot Productions, the production company that produced BAFTA-nominated documentary Rebel Dykes (2021). His filmmaking is driven by a belief in cinema as a space for connection, resistance, and reimagining the world we live in.
Franziska Bloder Aguayo
Producer
Franziska is a Glasgow-based film and TV freelancer with almost a decade of experience in development, production and post production across factual and scripted HETV. She has produced and managed commissioned documentary and scripted, short films through GMAC’s Little Pictures scheme and North Star Shorts.
Sotiris Gennatos
Editor
Sotiris is an experienced documentary editor known for his precision, storytelling instinct, and commitment to social justice. With roots in activist filmmaking, he currently works for a leading Scottish post-production house and brings a sharp editorial eye and deep purpose to every project.
Siobhan Fahey
Executive Producer
Siobhan has been involved in DIY events, activism, and creativity since the early 1980s in London, Manchester, and now Glasgow. In 2018, her first short, My Loneliness Is Killing Me (2018), directed by Tim Courtney, was awarded a BAFTA Scotland. Her short film Is It Me (2021), directed by Christopher McGill, was nominated for a Grierson Award. She produced the cult dyke documentary Rebel Dykes (2021) and the art exhibition The Rebel Dykes Art and Archive Show. Rebel Dykes was nominated for Best Feature at BAFTA Scotland 2022. Since it premiered in 2021, it has screened at over 100 film festivals, including Outfest, BFI Flare, and Frameline, and had a theatrical run in the UK. It was broadcast by Channel 4 and has gone on to win the Iris Prize for Best Feature 2021, Best Documentary at the Berlin Porn Film Festival 2021, and was nominated for a BIFA 2021.

Here’s the good news: we’ve already filmed it. Our director Chris and a small, dedicated crew have spent almost two years alongside the group, gathering a treasure trove of close-up, exciting, raw footage. Editing, sound design, colour grading, animation, and music: that’s what you’ll be funding. In return, we’ll deliver a finished film we can share with you, with Scotland, with the UK, and hopefully with audiences everywhere!
